Richard J. Rojas, DC

Associate Doctor

"Chiropractic is a safe, natural, and effective solution to become well and stay well. Take charge of your health!"

About Dr. Rojas

I was born and raised in Santa Clara, California and attended St. Lawrence Academy from kindergarten to my senior year of high school. Ever since I was a child, my ambition was to help others and I chose a career in the Health Sciences. I graduated from the University of the Pacific with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and desired to pursue a career in Chiropractic. I was fascinated with the healing abilities of the human body and found there were alternatives to achieve this without drugs or surgery. I began my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences where I was exposed to not only Chiropractic, but also other ancillary forms of alternative care such as Massage Therapy and Acupuncture. My clinical internship was at California State University – Northridge where I treated students, faculty, and athletes. I also participated in various rotation sites such as Los Angeles Free AIDS clinic and volunteered my time at various athletic events and sport physicals.

Towards the end of my internship, I became an intern for Chiropractic Solutions with Dr.’s Hoffman and McMurray. They not only exposed me to various Chiropractic techniques such as Activator Methods, Cox (Flexion-distraction), and Sacro-Occipital, but also guided me to become a confident and successful doctor. I also expanded my knowledge in sports injuries by attending classes at Palmer Chiropractic College-West to become a candidate for certification as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.

Philosophy

I became a doctor with the conviction that everyone is entitled to a healthier lifestyle through a safe, natural, and effective approach called Chiropractic. Each individual is unique and Chiropractic care is focused on the individual’s source of pain, not the symptoms. This may be due to the daily stresses of life, the aches and pains from various activities, or the intense training of a weekend warrior or athlete. I am dedicated to restore and maintain the balance of the body with various Chiropractic techniques, coupled with soft tissue mobilization, rehabilitation, and nutritional support. I enjoy helping people become well and ultimately return them to the active and healthy lifestyle in the shortest period of time possible.
