Name: Ken
Major complaint: While exercising at the gym, I strained my neck which resulted in nerve pain running from my neck down my arm and to my hand. I constantly felt minor pain, but it was much worse when I would turn my head. It also became very painful at night and interrupted my sleep.
Past history: I’ve had this happen a couple times before, but not to this extreme. The pain would typically go away after about a week. But not having the full flexibility to turn my head affects driving and other activities. When this recently happened again, I decided to get help right away instead of living with the pain.
Chiropractic results: I had good results even after my first visit with Dr. Rojas. The pain was still in my arm and neck, but I had much more flexibility turning my head after my first session. Dr. Rojas explained how to use ice and heat to help when I was between office visits. He also took the time to explain proper workout techniques so as to avoid similar injuries in the future. After my second visit, the pain was just isolated to my neck and shoulder. After the 4th visit, I was as good as new. I believe that Dr. Rojas greatly sped up my recovery time and I am very pleased with the results.
